| | | Is this a grey partridge? A couple of pics from last month taken through windows so they aren't brilliant, one bird started popping round daily a couple of months ago and this last week it's been joined by another. Grey partridge is the nearest id I can find for it, I am assuming they must be domesticated escapees?

| | | Re: Is this a grey partridge? I ruled pheasant out due to the lack of a tail, but I suppose if they are being kept the tail could have been taken off. The colours and markings do look like pheasant I agree, so pheasant it is this. Cheers all
