| | | Treecreepers On Sunday, I moved my pony to stables closer to where I live. This new place is right on the edge of a local country park.
While I was walking over to my pony's new field, I heard a distinctive call coming from the trees on my left. I immediately looked round and saw a Treecreeper on one of the trees, then another one, and another, and another . There appeared to be quite a large group of them and that really made my day |

| | | Re: Treecreepers Lovely little birds and they do indeed form loose flocks this time of year, often with goldcrests (and if you're really lucky a firecrest) with them.

| | | Re: Treecreepers I've never seen a flock of Treecreepers other than a family group in late summer, otherwise I don't I've seen more than 3 together, though certainly seen them in the winter in mixed flocks with tits + other species. |

| | | Re: Treecreepers Yes I suppose my post was misleading I meant a loose flock with other species rather than a whole flock of treecreepers I have seen 4 this way (could easily again be a family group.)

| | | Re: Treecreepers Not promising anything but I will try to get some pictures of them at the weekend. There were about 6 TC's that I noticed, and that was just while walking past. I'll spend some time observing and try to get some photos |
