| | red kites if you travel up the m40 after joining from the m25 go about ten miles and you will see at the side of the motorway about 20 to 30 red kites hovering above , its a fantastic sight,well worthit.

| | | Re: red kites We travel down to London from Manchester fairly regularly (M6, M42, M40) to visit family, and I love seeing the Red Kites on the way. Sometimes we lose track of how many we've seen, there are too many to count. It's an amazing sight. I always look out for them when we're travelling there or back now. |

| | | Re: red kites Trying, and failing, to get on with some work as I'd much rather watch the kites circle in the sky above. We are so lucky to have an abundance of red kites in this area now and it's well worth a trip, as leylandgary says. Stokenchurch is the centre, but they've spread for many miles in all directions now.
