| | | Bird of prey ID please Aplogies for the poor pictures but the bird was a long way off and very high - so I have no idea of the scale.
The tail is very chewed up. My first thought was kestrel but you will see that it has dark cheek markings and the neck and breast markings do not look like a kestrel to me
I have gone through my books and am stumped. It probably is something very commonplace but I cannot tie it down.
