Goldcrest flies...
Lovely site today when i noticed a goldcrest flying and then hovering ( be it only briefly) .Anyway, after looking through my bins did i notice a load of very small flies in the same area and noticed the goldcrest jumping off a branch hovering for a split second and resting , doing this several times before i lost site of him.
Thought i would share that with you all.. ( the wife dont understand.)

Had the same thing this morning at Wraysbury GP, 1 Goldcrest with a flock of Tits picking flies from the air

They are probably Winter Gnats, I've seen quite a few when the temperature is only a few degrees above zero.
