At the moment here, they are mainly in ones and twos.
They will be nesting shortly and these numbers will stay the same until the young are flying, when up to dozen or more may be seen flying around together, that is if you have a good local population.

I was once privelleged enough to see no fewer than 4 of these beautiful creatures flying together on one occasion.
