| | | Where to find out about loacl sightings Are there any other websites that pass on info about sightings of particular birds, as I was intrigued to see loads of birders watching the waxwings near home, where did they get their info from? |

You can also subscribe to various news/alerts sites such as 'Birdguides' - see here - www.birdguides.com
Hope that helps

| | | Re: Where to find out about loacl sightings There's some info here: birding facts Birding Resources by the Fat Birder for England West Yorkshire<BR>
Might be worth checking out some of the sites under the 'Clubs' heading, or giving them a call and ask if they know of good 'recent sightings' sites (sorry I don't know your area too well!!)
Otherwise as Jeff mentioned sign up to BirdGuides, or even RBA.

| | | Re: Where to find out about loacl sightings I think you`ll find most counties have their own website(s). For example my local one is the Sussex Orinthological Society site www.sos.org.uk which has a recent sightings page. This is updated very frequently. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
