| | Black and White Blackbird Wow, I saw a Black and White Blackbird this morning while out jogging in Wallsend, it took me by surprise (since I didn't even know they existed) but it was instantly recognisable as a Blackbird by its size and distinctive yellow beak. I'm just disappointed I didn't have my camera with me. |

| | | Re: Black and White Blackbird A leucistic bird, lacking melanin in some feathers. blackbirds are quite prone to this aberration. |

| | | Re: Black and White Blackbird Yep, I have one of these in my garden. Makes it easy to ID it as the same bird at least I also have what appears to be a male blackbird without a yellow bill (it has a black one instead). |
