| | | Redwing photos Yesterday, I saw my first redwings of the season. A flock of about 50 of these lovely birds. Flitting from treetop to branch to bush, searching through leaf litter. I always have to wait until late January to see these birds in my area.
I searched the photo Gallery for redwings and found that only one photo of a redwing has been posted (a very good one) compared to 154 waxwing and 74 fieldfares. Knowing this forum, I have an overwhelming feel that the this anomally is about to be rectified....! |

| | | Re: Redwing photos I have retraced my steps. On the 'bird forum' page I clicked 'bird Gallery' which takes you through to a 'bird photography' page, where I searched for 'redwing'. My mistake. |

| | | Re: Redwing photos doesn't help that in my experience, they're extremely hard to photograph, very wary.
i'm sure with a bigger lens it would be easier!
