| | | Tweet ching ching call I was up on the Yorkshire Wolds today and a strange call caught my attention. A small bird was skulking in a hawthorn hedge and moved along the hedge as I approached. I followed it for about 100 mtrs but never got a good look at it. The ching ching was reminiscent of an old fashioned double decker bus when the conductor rang the bell but a bit more ringing/strident. The bird was alone on an exposed part of the Wold. Any ideas anyone?
Cheers
