Today for the first time the Goldfinches have found my niger seeds. There are four of them on them right now. Normally only one about a week ago. The Great and Blue tits are on the other feeder with a Robin on the garden table, where I always scatter a few seeds. Two male Blackbirds are patrolling under the feeders while being watched by a pair of collared Doves. All this under the eye of my resident Black Cap who seems to have mellowed. Not bad for an urban garden in Bristol. Lovely to see though.
