| | | Starling roosts around newcastle upon Tyne Just watched country file and was wondering where around Newcastle would be a good place to watch large numbers of starlings coming into roost. Seem to remember big waters near wideopen was a good spot but do they still roost there or dose anybody know of anywhere else I could try |

| | | Re: Starling roosts around newcastle upon Tyne Hi - I've seen them north of Newcastle, around the A696, there used to regular roosts in the City Cente - I remember being entranced as a kid, I work for the Council and I know they've tried to put a stop to this. RSPB Saltholme do Starling Roost Walks - I think you get soup as well! This is quite a long way off if your on public transport. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
