Had a Great day today at a few sites in somerset.
Highlights were
Cattle Egret (Shapwick somerset levels)
Great white egret "
Whooper Swan "
Lesser Redpoll "
Black necked Grebe Cheddar Reservoir
Red Crested Pochard "
Making 93 bird species so far. |

Added a few in the week and managed to add Slavonian Grebe this morning, which takes me to 127.
Also heard a couple of Cetti's Warblers this afternoon but didn't see them so not counted. |

I added 3 as well today: Knot, Med Gull + Ring-billed Gull, which from memory puts me on 119. |

Small fast flowing and shallow streams/rivers are favoured habitat .There are some here in gloucestershire although not common because the habitat is not common.Ive just got to figure out how to get close enough to photograph them now i know where they can be seen  . |
