Wrongl Bird Photo

Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help me? I posted a photo labelled "Lesser Yellowlegs" under the heading "Wildlife Foreign Nationals" on Jan 6th but my son has pointed out that the photo is probably that of a Ruff that I took on the same day. If you look at the wing markings it has the characteristic pale edge to each feather whereas the motling of the Lesser Yellowleg is much more delicate. My photo was viewed by 6 moderators before it was approved but I think it is wrong.

How do I correct it? I can upload the corect photo.

Your son is right MonArk. It is a ruff.

I've changed the title to Ruff - Philomachus pugnax

I should point out that we (Moderators and Gallery editors) are not experts in every subject and unless quite obvious we would only be concerned in the image content, quality and correct title format.

I didn't mean it is a criticism, just the opposite. I am not well up on identification - hence the mistake in the first place - so I was hesitant about questioning what had been approved.

I will upload the right photo over the weekend.
