I see you aren't getting much of a response here Tarka, but check this website/club out, they are very good:

They might have something to offer you.
Being in Clitheroe you are in striking distance of some very good places, Bowland, Brockholes, etc.

Unfortunately, I have just read this. I'm off to Marshside this afternoon with my brother. High tide is about 3.30pm. This is the optimum time for seeing all types of sea and marsh birds. We will be at the hides from about 2.30 pm.
