| | | Red Necked Grebe - St Annes, Lancs Caused a bit of a stir this little beauty has on the Fylde Coast. Spotted while taking my 4 week old baby daughter out on here first spotting session with her Dad. Am hoping she is a lucky as this every time!!!
Taken at Fairhaven Lake, St Annes, Lancashire on 08/01/2011. Wonderful to have the bird on the lake only 4 metres away from the edge. Was still there yesterday aswell if anyone is interested in visiting.

| | | Re: Red Necked Grebe - St Annes, Lancs Yes it was indeed, they really are cracking birds. Its great for your daughter, hopefully she will get into wildlife as she grows up. Its a fantastic subject for kids to get into they learn so much. |
