| | Robin on Bird feeder We have only very recently began watching the birds in our garden and are amazed by our visitors every day. Our favourite are the robins, we were surprised when we read somewhere on this forum that they rarely eat from a hanging bird feeder, ours must be hungry robins as we have seen them several times on our feeders! Here is one of our first pics we managed to take, hope the quality is ok as we are still very new to wildlife photography and this site. |

Es | Thank you for the welcome Our robins seem quite friendly and happily share with all the other birds. I have read they are quite territorial but no squabbles seen thus far! |

| | | Re: Robin on Bird feeder I have a robin visitor who takes from the seed feeder the bits that look like corn flakes and flies off with them. Sparrows and tits also visit and I have seen a blackbird trying it out!

| | | Re: Robin on Bird feeder We also have a Robin that uses our peanut feeder but as yet has not mastered the fat cake feeder - he just grabs/pecks a little by trying to hovver near to the suspended feeder |

| | | Re: Robin on Bird feeder We have sunflower seeds, robin mix bought from pet store, suet block, but I think their favourites are the meal worms! They do feed on the floor most of the time where we supply a dish of robin mix and meal worms, but do occasionally go onto the feeders! |

| | | Re: Robin on Bird feeder The robins here go onto the feeders too.
I'd better clarify that - they hovver like a humming bird as they poke their beeks into the open/round part of the seed feeder, they're eating the sunflower hearts. |
