Green finches

The green finches are the most frequent visitors and thrive in my garden.

Thanks rossy I am so enjoying the birds that are visiting. Had a pheasant desperate for food while the snow lay thick on the ground. He (it was a male) doesnt come any more

Good you have so many- remember to keep the food/water containers very clean as this species has been suffering quite a decline caused by contaminated feeders which haven't been cleaned properly.

Thanks for the good advice. I make sure I do that. I had heard about their decline.

I too have large groups of them here, Esphil, they're like the Mafia, definately in charge !!!
