It's been manic here today. Birds everywhere but lots of chasing a flirting going on!
I just watched a collard dove chasing around after another with it's chest puffed out and bobbing it's head up and down, although I can't say the other looked too impressed though and made her escape!
Mr Blackbird preening Mrs Blackbird in the tree.
Goldfinch playing chase all day!
Well, we did have a bit of sunshine here I suppose! |

They've been going a bit mad here too! Maybe they are elated that the snow has melted and are doing a bit of celebrating  . |

Yes, the rain has ruined it here in Essex! maybe I will get on with something for a change instead of sitting at my window watching the antics! |

A well known Scots writer said something about Winter reluctantly retreating into his cave for a few months for the summer.
He has not retreated far enough into his cave for our birds to think about anything but survival so far. It`s a nice thought that he will though.
