| | | Landing on ice Technically nowhere near perfect but I just liked the birds shape when coming into land (the feet and the wings) |

| | | Re: Landing on ice Good shot. Interesting. Do they prepare for landing like this when landing on water? I mean, do they have their feet positioned according to what they think they are going to land on? Just wondering.

| | | Re: Landing on ice Brilliant shot , I had to look for the wings....
I can only imagine the outcome, something from a loony tune cartoon.
I imagine its like an undercarrage of a plane , putting its landing gear down, i assume they use there feet to slow themselves down.

You're one of my facebook friends!
We had a retriever pup from you 5 years come easter - the whole family would descend en masse to your house every saturday to see her until she was big enough to leave her mum. Her name is Rosie and shes the best dog in the world!
Oh - and the photo is wonderful - in fact I love to see all your photos.....there was a really nice kingfisher shot a while back! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
