| | | can you identify please? Hi there, I am new to the site, and new to bird watching photography (still learning). I took this pic (my avatar) whilst on the Norfolk Broads end of September 2010. Can anyone tell me what it is please? I just loved it's beautiful colours. thanks in advance. S
also pic is quite small can someone tell me how to upload a pic? |

| | | Re: can you identify please? Hi Sarah, and welcome to WAB. Your avatar looks like an Egyptian Goose, as far as I can see. There's some threads on how to upload, or go to the Gallery, or Images and click on upload and see what it says. The criteria are stricter for Gallery photos than the Images library. |

Agree Egyptian Goose. These days they are common in quite a few places- they are now widespread around the London area; i also see them in north Norfolk, Rutland Water + I'm sure other places too. |

Not native, but fully naturalised as much as a Canada Goose. No doubt about it's identity to me. |
