He's BACK again today, but with an added surprise !! Just like he'd read replies to my Hogmanay forum message ! There he was - in the pond - under the net with a dead goldfish floating alongside . Ran back in to house to get camera . Took a few stills of him under the net then set about getting him out. He tried to escape back through the 5" netting and was getting a bit tangled, so with the help of my wife we undid net fixings on one side of the pond and using gentle prods with a garden clothes pole guided him out .It was a fascinating experience and I suppose its just nature to have lost a fish in the process.He then flew up on to the garden wall and settled to watch us as if he was hoping we'd go away and let him continue.Took video footage of his time on the wall until I got too close and he flew off.Magnificent bird up close ! Still figuring out how to use the site. Location :Milngavie n'r Glasgow.
