Little Stint? ID

I was sure this was a Dunlin, until I looked in the birdbook. Any ideas?

I agree Ruff, Good find, most often along south and east coast in winter. An indication of how bad the weather has been to find one so far inland?

Yes it's a Ruff. Just out of interest, why did you need to get so close to take the photo? Just asking

Thanks Adam, At this country park there is a duck feeding area where ~500 waterfowl and a good few rats all fight it out for bread thrown in to the lake near the carpark. This Ruff was one of the scrum and to get an unobscurred line of sight required wading through some of the other birds.
