| | | red kites and barn owls happy crimbo all , im new on here and im wanting to film either red kites or barn owls in lancashire if any one knows the whereabouts of them i know there has been sightings of red kites in chorley hope you all have a good new year |

| | | Re: red kites and barn owls Lancs is no good for red kites, with birds seen being isolated wanderers, but Harewood, near Leeds is superb. As for barn owls, the Lancashire coastal plain and mosslands are your best bet. Martin Mere, near Ormskirk is very good, though they have always been distant when I've seen them there.
