happy crimbo all , im new on here and im wanting to film either red kites or barn owls in lancashire if any one knows the whereabouts of them i know there has been sightings of red kites in chorley hope you all have a good new year  |

Lancs is no good for red kites, with birds seen being isolated wanderers, but Harewood, near Leeds is superb. As for barn owls, the Lancashire coastal plain and mosslands are your best bet. Martin Mere, near Ormskirk is very good, though they have always been distant when I've seen them there.

So you PM the OP and tell them that there is a great site in Belmont (bearing in mind they are asking for a site in Lancashire)
A reply says 'thanks but no thanks, Liverpool is a bit far'.
Something tells me that the OP will still be looking for red kites and barn owls
