lots of geese and swans
Today we drove out past Shrewsbury (Cressage to be exact if anyone is from my neck of the woods) on a piece of land (about 20 acres) there were literally hundreds of barnacle geese and mute swans, all stood in the middle of the thawing field, never seen this amount anywhere wild before and it was as if they were sticking to their own breeds, geese to the left, swans to the right.
