| | | Pheasant in my garden Hi - I've had a female pheasant in my suburban garden for the last week. She comes to forage for seed on the ground near the bird table a couple of times a day and seems quite happy. Is this unusual for her to be here so long? |

| | | Re: Pheasant in my garden Welcome to WAB rachdee
We get them in the garden on a daily basis and all year round - one or two males and up to six females. They feed beneath the bird feeding stations and have become quite tame, often coming right up to the patio doors and following me round to the shed when I go there to re-stock the feeders.
However, we're in a rural area on the edge of the village and our garden adjoins a meadow and open country.
In fact, there's three females in the garden as I write this
