| | | Woodcock wrexham north wales I am so chuffed - I have had a woodcock in my garden for all of today and its still there and its now gone 9pm. I really hope it stays here. I need to read up on them so I can make the most of its presence I have never seen one in my life so really excited.
Rubbish picture I know but it will hopefully be here again tomorrow and I will get better ones |

| | | Re: Woodcock wrexham north wales I had a night vision scope for Xmas last year. It came from Aldi's (about £99) and its one of my best presents ever!! You should keep a look out as I think they had them in again this year or it may even have been Lidl that had them. My husband thinks I'm a complete loon too!! This Xmas I asked for a bat detector - he just wafted his eyes and said couldn't I ask for normal stuff like perfume or jewellry!! Enjoy your woodcock |

| | | Re: Woodcock wrexham north wales Thats really cool. I'm pretty sure I saw one feeding on the grass verge at the side of the M77 motorway in Glasgow the other day. My cousin said "look theres a chicken". It had its head down digging in the snowy grass so I never got a good look but after just watching a vid on youtube of one feeding im almost certain thats what it was. |
