| | | Redwings and Fieldfares I drew open the blinds this morning and every tree I could see was stuffed with Redwings or Fieldfares. The single Pyracantha at the edge of my drive
was full, and has remained so all day, of both kinds of birds. It was a brilliant orange/yellow but has been stripped of two thirds of its berries to date.
A quick attempt at counting put both types at around the 300 mark! with something like 40 at a time in the Pyracantha, unusually they have not touched the apple and soaked dry fruit in the back garden

| | | Re: Redwings and Fieldfares Opened my kitchen blind to see 3 Redwings together in my garden rooting around on the ground plus a couple of Blackbirds. First time I've seen them here: West Dorset near the coast.
Very distinctive markings around the eyes.
