Looks like a Fieldfare to me.

Had one in the garden along with four or five Redwings.

Yeah have had a lot of redwings in the garden too, which doesn't normally happen, but there are literally hundreds in Cheltenham at the moment. I usually see them in the countryside, but never in these numbers in the town.
