went to the scrap yard today, and the chap who owns it, told me that yesterday he found an european eagle owl, exhausted in the yard, so he called a friend who knows about bop, he fed it chicks, and they contacted the rspca, who later turned up ,and it turns out the owl had been reported missing, and is now back with a relieved owner, trust me to have been be working yesterday and miss out on a beauty. rossy.

There is an Eagle Owl on the loose in Newport (Wales). Looks like it is not going hungry as it has been seen taking birds. There is a photo of the bird sat a top of a crow/jackaw on the Blogg site of Weekend Birder.
