These have returned to our garden in the last month and they come and go all through the day I've counted up to a dozen at a time, but the numbers have shot up today to around twenty, they are lovely to watch and I love the chatter they make too.

I love the chatter too + when it becomes high pitched + intense I know there's a raptor about. This happened to me yesterday whilst conducting my WeBS counts. As I heard the agitated calls I looked up + instead of seeing a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel flew over slowly looking down.

I love long tailed tits, they always arrive en masse at different times of the day - love suet balls. Always a joy to watch, some of my favourite birds, they really look after each other.

They are regular visitors to my garden. They go for the fat cake and fat balls. I had about half a dozen feeding the other day. I once saw one without a tail and it looked like a flying tennis ball. I was sorry it had lost its tail but it did look quite funny.

me too i had 3 in my garden this morning first time i see them for a long while , and its strange i see half a dozen yesterday at work..... just love them....
