| | | Nuthatches back after long absence Hi,
Haven't posted for ages I'm afraid, but just had to say I was delighted to see my favourite bird, the nuthatch back this week after probably 4 or 5 years absence in our suburban garden (we do have strips of trees beside and behind us. Feisty as ever! Must be the freezing weather and snow.
We also have a pheasant in and out - at least a couple of years since one wandered in. Have heard the foxes barking, so hope it stays safe up a tree at night!

| | | Re: Nuthatches back after long absence I've had the same - the Nuthatches left some time ago, scared by a cat climbing their nest tree I think...and haven't been back in ages other than very short visits. I am always really pleased to see them....so lucky you! |
