| | | Mystery Bird Hello!
We have had a bird in our garden for the past few days and I cannot identify it at all, at a first glance I thought it was a dunnock but it has much more detail to its feathers and an almost cream with black broken stripes on its underbelly, its most noticeable feature is it has golden/orange eyes, it has been feeding on the bird tables and on the floor and spends most of the day in the garden, not really bothering to find another feeding area, it is eating a lot and exploring around the garden so I know its not sick or injured.
Any Ideas please? |

| | | Re: Mystery Bird Hi there
A few people on twitter came up with that idea but from looking at pics of a brambling it isn't that, I'm wondering if its a foreign bird that blew off course or something?? none of the British birds look like this. |

| | Re: Mystery Bird A picture will help a lot. If you click on the "images" at the top in the blue bar and then "upload images" (top right of the page) you can then upload your picture - you might have to make it smaller first though...
After that come back to this thread and post a reply and in the box underneath the smilies there is a library images button... click it and click on your picture
( for if you didn't already know how to do it )
