| | | Not seen these in the snow before I had a walk in a local park this morning and saw a small group of these. They did not appear to be at all bothered by the snow.
Sorry the photo is not very good - the tree is on an island so I could not get any closer.

| | | Re: Not seen these in the snow before I saw quite a few this morning- totally unfazed by the snow. These birds which can naturally occur in the foothills of the Himalayas cope far better than many of our small native birds in the severe weather.
They can start breeding soon. |

They do not appear to have caused a problem for native (whatever that means) birds, so I wonder what niche they have slotted into.
