As 'hopefully' you can see I've fitted most of my feeders with hats and boots. The hats are the tops of large plastic buckets, I trim most of the seal from the circumference then cut a line between the centre and the outside edge, overlap the edges of the cut and secure with a small self tapper.
The boots (to stop the seeds germinating on the grass) are frisbeez from the toy shop. Cheers, Tony. |

And your picture is a sensible size too, so often images are too small to see enough detail.
As for the advisory message, i doubt you can remove it and it presumably means the system doesn't like the size of it.
I do. |

Cheers, Tony. | its because you are using an externally linked picture from photobucket - thats not allowed by the wab rules (because external pics lead to broken links and threads full of red crosses) - better to upload the pic to the wab image library and link it from there

| | | Re: Keeping the rain/snow off. Love the hats, I can also use one as a squirrel baffle on the pole that my feeders hang from. That'll save about £15 - thanks for a brilliant tip

| | | Re: Keeping the rain/snow off. I think that's a very clever idea Tony, simple and easy to do, if peanuts are left for sometime and not eaten, they start to go rotten which is not good for the birds. Pauline. |
