With the year drawing to a close , i was wondering what your favourite birds of 2010 were .
Mine has to be the magnificent King eider of the suffolk coast ! |

Mine is a Brown Flycatcher which had a short stay near Bempton.
I saw (possibly) the same King Eider at Filey, there was a rumour that it was the same bird which later went to suffolk, not sure if this is true or not. |

Can't decide between some good golden eagles up Scotland last May, or a nicely posing rough-legged buzzard up in Sleddale recently.

The king eider at filey is almost definately the same individual as the norfolk and suffolk bird , Wouldnt mind a brown flycatcher here in east anglia  ! |

The nesting peregrines in the city where I work. They gave me hours of joy this year. |

Not a twitcher just a borderline bird watcher but I get a thrill when I pick up one of my patch rarities which this year include; Little Egret, Turtle Dove, Spotted Flycatcher, Lesser Redpoll, Garden Warbler and Green Sandpiper.
