though on personal experience a robin would be more likely to persist in following a human (in the hope of food) than others that would present a similar profile.

My point is; dont make assumptions on ID's no matter what the subject. It may be a Robin or it may be a Dunnock, the two most likely suspects,but unless you can give proof for one or t'other why be so certain?
I would still say the profile looks more like a Robin than a Dunnock but the quality of the pic is not,in my opinion,adequate enough to give a positive ID.

It's a Dunnock.
