Bird id. Please.
I was told there was a Smew on one of the flashes nearby.
Some people where already looking at it but I struggled to actually pin point the bird, so I took pictures of the whole cluster of birds on the water and played a game of "Where's Walley" trying to find a Smew amongst the ducks, Goldeneyes and Coots when I got home. I think I have found it.

Is this a Smew?

Yes a smew, female/1st winter. Most likely a 1st winter lores seem quite brown but hard to say.
