| | | What is this flying bird? I saw this strange bird in the sky over the reedbeds between Minsmere and Dunwich Heath late this afternoon. It appears to have long legs, very broad wings and a dark head. Any ideas? |

Most local authorities would pay a fortune for a sculpture like that for their Town Square!

| | | Re: What is this flying bird? Many, many years ago, walking on the cliffs near Golden Cap in Dorset we saw, at near dusk, the best 'unidentified flying saucer' ever. It did all the much-reported things - changed shape, direction and speed - and then silently landed. It took me ages to convince my companion that it was starlings One of the best wildlife moments ever. |
