There's a fighting chance he's been rooting around underneath
your hedges or bushes and you haven't noticed him.
I love dunnocks..they just get on with things all around us but manage to stay under the radar...well under bushes at least. |

There's been some debate as to whether dunnocks will use feeders or if they will stick to ground feeding.

I snapped this chap awaiting his turn on a feeder during the
snow last week.
The feeder at the bottom of the image is about 5 feet off the ground
And thoroughly miserable he looks too! |
