| | | Bins I am now thinking of upgrading my bushnell nature views 8x42 to hawke frontier ed 8x43, and just wonder if anybody out there, would know if these would be be a "big" improvement on my bushnell, I mainly want them for inside woods use. Thank you. |

| | | Re: Bins I'd try them, but I bet you end up staying with the natureviews, which are probably the best for under £200 you can get which meet necessary criteria for close focus, speed of focussing and wideangle you need for wood birding.
Cheers

| | | Re: Bins good!
and of course 8x42's do it best in there - 10x would be a nightmare.
Good luck, let us know if you change etc!
Cheers

| | | Re: Bins I thought you would like to know how I got on with the hawkes Ken, and anyone else who may be interested. The weight was just a little more then the bushnell which was not enough to notice the difference. The field of view is a bit more, as well but again not enough to notice, they do come in a "very nice case" the only real difference I could see was in the quality of the build which is "very nice" and the brightness of the image, which was enough to sway me, so I brought them. For anyone on a budget I would not worry too much, as the bushnell are still, very" good for the money. |

| | | Re: Bins glad you like them, accipter.
it's going to cost you another 1200 quid to get anything with a better optical view than them.
wait till you get them in a dark wood and realise you can see things you couldn't before. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
