They're great little ducks. I do like Mandarins but don't get too many around here. |

before visiting my first 2 reserves this year , i never really thought much about wildfowl /ducks etc, but i do now.i got to say theose 2 have beautiful markings on them...

They are exquisite. I remember counting over 60 in Richmond Park during the cold spell last year. |

Loving that the female has got snow on the tip of beak.
Went back again today for a head count in the rain.
27 & could see a few more lurking on the island.
Very amusing watching them skiding in to land on the ice, having flown across the lake to me.
