Out with the dog this morning and saw six Cranes flying northwest across Sheppey. Possibly heading for the Medway.
Only managed a poor quality pic.  |

Oh excellent! I saw quite a lot (although of the usual subjects) on the other side of the swale yesterday, but certainly no cranes! |

Between Somerton and Waxham, they are often seen in the fields. A place called Brograve farm is a good area, I have seen them there a few times in the last couple of years. I think my biggest count is 14. Another good area is the viewing point at Stubb mill at roosting time, near Hickling Broad NWT reserve.

Good to know there isn't much snow at the moment as I had to cancel this trip last December due to severe weather. | | |
