Feeding Gulls (a back garden disaster?)

There are a dozen Gulls on the roof opposite me, and more in the garden below. Someone is feeding them bread in huge quantities. There is already a guano smear on the ridge and the smaller birds holding back or they are in my garden. Currently in my garden there are Goldfinches a Bullfinch (now 3!) Sparrows, Starlings, Jackdaws, several Blackbirds, Greenfinches, Chaffinches, Dunnocks a pair of Woodpigeon, Collar Doves, Wren. Some are regulars the rest just displaced by the hungry Gulls? There is also running water to drink and two bird baths. As an aside a Black and White cat has climbed a thin limbed bushy tree to watch the Gulls, they are flying at the cat which is pettrified!

No gulls come into my garden.Have a Willow,Rowan and a Silver Birch about 3 meters away planted in open plan area.They do not like the obstruction.A flock of 40 or more are always about waiting for the locals to throw bread out.Always pitched on a roof at the top of the hill crest.See them all coming every day along the Camerton Valley.Late afternoon of they go in their V formation.Several flocks/flights can be seen going through.
