territorial wood pigeons..
observing the feathered friends this morning, from the kitchen window...
6 yes 6 ( thats a record for me) wood pigeons came for breakfast.
Watching them one of them kept chasing another from the bird table where they were both eating from, then he jumped down and chased off another.It happened one more time , to get me thinking are they that protective/territorial over there food.?
Is it just like any other bird?
I have not obsereved this with the tits or nuthatches .
