On a serious note, your picture could help with some research. Have a look at this link, regarding colour ringed alba wagtails, http://www.devonbirds.org/node/372
If you email them your sightings they may be able to track where your waggy has been.

I never knew that they migrated so far either. Iceland to breed. Amazing
I'll look out for more now I know about it.

You've inspired me to go out & about around here with my camera.
I know of atleast 3 lakes local to me are partially frozen, so hopefully will provide some lovely winter pics.
One of them reportedly has about 34 Mandarin Ducks so that'd be nice.

Seen quite a few pied wagtails recently one pretty little fellow eating food I put out... attractive little birds they are
Any one know why they 'wag' ? are they trying to mimic something blowing in the wind or something ?
