You can even see the ruffled feathers on the back of the GSW where the Sparrowhawk had grasped it. Really brilliant shot. Thanks for posting, rossbells.

Real life suspense. That must have been quite something to witness. One of those moments where you hold your breath for those involved in the drama.

I have seen and heard a GSW when its been caught by a s/hawk, anybody who think a GSW does have a loud call, should hear it when its being held down by a s/hawk. |
