Twite?

Was looking through the other threads and seen someone getting a LBJ ID and it was a Twite. Are these pics Twites too? I wasnt sure.

I think Linnet (but I'm be no means certain). RoyW posted a very good series of shots for comparison here:

I think yours is more Linnet-like.

Hi Fudgey, yours aren't more Linnet like than the ones in the "wee brown bird" thread (if that's the one that you meant), they have exactly the same Linnet likeness because all the subject birds in both threads are Linnets.

I can't take any credit for the Twite/Linnet comparison shots I posted I'm afraid - all were taken by other WABbers, all I did was link them from the Gallery.

Ha, ha, no I know you can't get more Linnet-like if you are already a Linnet

, but if you are deciding between the two you can say that you think it's more like a Linnet than a Twite based on pictures of Linnets and Twites.

No explanation was actually needed - I realised exactly what you meant immediately after I posted.

I did try and post an edit, but my PC wasn't having it - I've ended up having to cut the power and reboot (and now I guess that I'd better run a few checks)

I had it down on my flikr site as a Linnet, but when I seen the one on the threda here I thought it looked similar. Im still not sure what it is, but Im more Linnet than Twite????
