Mallard Hybrid??
Had another mooch to Carr Mill Dam this morning before work. Spotted this duck and it has got me a bit puzzled. There where 2 of them amongst all the other Mallards but these two where alot brighter than the other females, almost gold looking im comparison.

Had a quick look thru me books and cannot ID it properly. All the pictures of female Mallards have yellow/orange beaks, and a blue patch on the back.

Hi Mightymaiden and welcome toWAB
Just a Mallard but it has a bit of domestic/farmyard/manky Mallard mixed in but still just a Mallard as nearly all domestic/farmyard ducks are still Mallards.
