| | | Re: Reward over shooting of Osprey in Lincolnshire The link isn't working but the article is easy to find on the net.
What a horrible, sickening and pointless act by someone who is obviously short of something in their character. This sort of act makes me so mad that I sometimes feel disgusted to belong to the same species as this 'person'.
If the perpetrator is caught- I truly hope that he/she is thrown into prison for a very long time.
There is no point in going on more about this as there are not enough words that suitably descrides how sick this make me feel.

| | | Re: Reward over shooting of Osprey in Lincolnshire Very reprehensible and totally unacceptable. The thing that snuck in my mind is, would this cause more loss to the overall biodiversity than Mr Trumps exploits in Scotland?
One is a sad example of the narrow minded viscousness of one individual, the other is a collusion of politics, power, money and to destroy a habitat.
Between the two, where does hope for wildlife lie.

| | | Re: Reward over shooting of Osprey in Lincolnshire I would have put money on a WABber suggesting a likely culprit. Very short odds based on the media report. |

| | | Re: Reward over shooting of Osprey in Lincolnshire Can't see it being an angler, too much other gear to tote and shotguns aren't really much use fishing. No flying fish in Britain.
I really do hope they catch the dumba$$ but I doubt it.
It is really no worse than the Sparrow-hawks and Kessies I find cunningly laid out on or near Icknield street, that have been stupidly slaughtered for no reason. Other than perhaps a perverse delight in killing what can't be eaten.
